Bhimbetika Rock Shelter Site
The Bhimbetka rock shelters are an archaeological site in central India that spans the prehistoric Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods, as well as the historic period. It exhibits the earliest traces of human life in India and evidence of Stone Age starting at the site in Acheulian times.
Narmada River Darshan
A lovely setting by the River side. Neat well laid steps lead to the water. The serene ambience provides quietude to spend some time gazing at the water. The flow is limited unless it’s the monsoon. Well worth the visit. Do check out the funky eatery The Tea Factory near the ghat for a nice cup of hot tea in a mud cup (khullad ki chai) and some good eats. The place will surprise you.
All Saints Church Sehore
The All Saints’ Church which was built by a British political agent who belonged to Scotland in 1838. The building is an Exact replica of a church in Scotland and even the surrounding greenery, comprising mainly tall Bamboo trees, was designed to match the original.To traverse the Sehore soil is to tread upon centuries of colorful history.
Cenotaphs of Kunwar Chain Singh
Cenotaphs of Kunwar Chain Singh : Cenotaphs, samadhies and tombs of Kunwar Chainsingh are 2 km away in Dashahra wala Maidan on the bank of river Lotia on Sehore – Indore Road. These cenotaphs remind the historic fight between patriot Chainsingh of Narsingh Garh estate and political agent Mr.Medhank.
Ratapani Widlife Sanctuary
The Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary boasts a forest area of around 688 sq. km – mainly comprising a beautiful teak forest. Although the tiger holds the position of top predator in the park, leopards, striped hyenas, jackals, Indian foxes and wild dogs also inhabit its forested tracts.

Surrounded by beautiful dense forest, The tourism department offers camping, trekking and bird watching facilities in the forest.
